Your Well-Being
Matters

Toxic Work Spaces is an awareness initiative that exists to name the unseen emotional, psychological, and systemic harm professionals experience in the workplace. We help individuals and organizations recognize harm early, reflect deeply, and respond consciously before the damage becomes normalized.

For too long, professionals have been navigating work environments where harm is present — but rarely named. They endure gaslighting in meetings, experience chronic burnout, witness leaders avoid accountability, and are forced to shrink their identities to “fit in.” But this harm is not just emotional — it’s systemic. It’s institutional. And it’s silently reshaping how people relate to their work, their self-worth, and their future.

Toxic Work Spaces began as a safe space for professionals to come together and unpack their workplace experiences.

Today, we’re a full-fledged awareness initiative that works with individuals, leaders, and organizations to uncover what’s somewhat broken and begin healing it.

We don’t just talk about toxic work culture. We map it. Measure it. Help you understand it. And work with you to change it.

about us

Where we came from

Our work started in 2019 as a quiet, uneasy feeling that something wasn’t quite right at work. Not because the work was too hard, but because the environment made people feel small. It was the silence after meetings, the anxiety before Monday, the slow erosion of self-worth that crept in quietly.

We saw it in different forms. In the late-night texts from professionals questioning their value. In leaders who were once passionate but were slowly burning out trying to do good inside broken systems. And in ourselves — the perfectionism, the shrinking, the pressure to keep going no matter the cost.

We came to a powerful realization that the harm happening in today’s workplaces isn’t just about performance. It’s emotional. It’s psychological. And it’s deeply systemic.

That realization was the beginning of Toxic Work Spaces. Not just as a platform, but as an awareness initiative and as a space built to name and reflect on the emotional and systemic harm professionals were carrying, often silently.

In our early days, we focused on creating a safe space where people could gather and speak what was once unspeakable. A place to say out loud: “This doesn’t feel normal. This doesn’t feel okay.”

We didn’t rush to offer solutions. We listened. We held space. We built trust. And in doing so, we discovered that awareness was only the first step. We gave people the language to name their experiences, the safety to reflect, and the community to feel seen.

But soon, we began asking new questions:
What if we could do more than just listen?
What if we could help people heal — and help organizations prevent the harm in the first place?

That question changed everything and from it, our work evolved into something bigger, a mission to not only hold space for truth but to design new systems where that truth is honored.

Our Awareness Pillars

Stay married to the problem, not the solution.
That’s been our guiding truth from the very beginning.

We don’t rush to offer one-size-fits-all answers. Because the real harm professionals face in the workplace isn’t always visible, it’s silent, layered, and deeply systemic. So instead of pushing quick fixes, we stay anchored in the problem: the emotional, psychological, and structural wounds that too many people carry silently from work.

We begin by naming what’s hard to name. Then, we listen deeply. We hold space. And only then do we co-create responses that are conscious, context-specific, and rooted in long-term change.

This is how we turn awareness into action, not by solving for symptoms, but by dismantling the systems that keep professionals stuck. in survival.

Leadership Readiness Lab

These are workshops and learning sprints for emerging and evolving leaders who want to lead with more awareness, empathy, and integrity.

In most organizations, leadership is passed down as a set of inherited behaviors some helpful, many harmful. Without pause, reflection, or support, even well-meaning leaders replicate the very systems that caused harm before them.

The Leadership Readiness Labs were created to break that cycle.

This is not leadership as performance. It’s leadership as presence.
Not managing from fear, but leading with clarity.
Not reacting from ego, but responding from consciousness.

Through curated workshops, learning sprints, and immersive exercises, participants explore:

  • The internal work of leadership: emotional intelligence, self-awareness, nervous system regulation

  • The systemic lens of how leadership choices shape culture, belonging, and well-being

  • The relational practices of how to lead in a way that sees, hears, and honors others

Our labs are especially designed for:

  • New managers looking to ground themselves in healthier leadership habits

  • Mid-level leaders seeking to unlearn toxic norms and lead more consciously

  • Founders & HR leads who want to create cultures of trust and psychological safety from the start

We believe leadership isn’t a title. It’s a daily practice. And the most transformative leaders are those who are willing to learn, unlearn, and lead differently.

If you’re ready to reimagine how you lead and influence culture, this is your lab.
